Why did she invite me then ignore me?

It's obvious that she was just adding to the total ticket sales for the event. If you were not involved before it's plain she took you for the ride. forget it and find one who does pay attention. It sounds to me like she is rude and you don't to be the laughing stock of any ones games. Ignore her for a while and let her get a taste of her own medicine.
