you know i dont think that argument holds. age factor isnt a big deal, my dad is one year younger then my mom and when he told her that she wasnt mad about it. so eventually they got married. maybe its just not the right girl for you, if she was ur true soul mate she would have said yes and ignored her parents opinion. honestly if you truely care for her and show her that there is a chnace she can change her mind. good luck
