Please help me fix this paragraph. It just doesn't sound right?

The patient is a fifty six year old female who is 5 feet tall, and weighs 180 pounds. She was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis.She is able to perform all daily living activities independently and is on a full liquids diet. The patient has an IV in her right hand infusing NS 150cc/hour. Patient is allergic to claforan, erythromycin, keflex, mandol, and penicillin. The patient has a history of Asthma, Gastroesophgeal reflux disease, cholesystectomy, and partial hysterectomy.Vital signs should be taken every eight hours.
