It does not really matter which martial art you use in a street fight as long as it for good reason and not just because, and if you're not the person who started it, try to reason with the person show some patience, and it's a good idea to look at it from that person view point. The marital art that is the most effective is what ever you have been praticing the longest and have repeatly gone thru the basics, going thru the basics over and over can and will make you art strong and more effective, but don't forget not eventhing I say does not apply to everyone, just the few who grasp the mean. So meanings have more than One meaning.
