Does he even like me? =/.?

Okk heres my story. Their is this guy that wanted to go out with me since the beggaing of the year so i finally gave him a chance. But the thing is that i started dating him last thursday 04.30.09 and i havent seen him since then. He told everybody that im his lady and everything but i havent talked to him since then. He hasnt come to school .Does he even try to get my number? His homeboy told me that he said that he (my bf) told him to give me his number but he never did. my homegirl told me that he's maybe shy and a bit shocked that his finally with me. She says maybe he needs a lil time But how much time does he need?? My friend says that maybe something came up and he doesnt wana tell me about it. Sometimes i fell like giving up but my friends tell me not to because he really really likes but he doesnt show it to me. Please please help!!! What should i do??
